Surrogacy Arrangements
There are two types of surrogacy arrangements, Traditional Surrogacy and Gestational Surrogacy.
Traditional Surrogacy is an arrangement by which a woman agrees to become pregnant using her own egg. In this type of an arrangement, the surrogate is genetically related to the conceived baby. In contrast, in a gestational surrogacy arrangement the surrogate agrees to become pregnant through assisted reproductive technology and carries a child for Intended Parents that is not genetically related to her.
Surrogate Steps is a surrogate agency that specializes exclusively in Gestational Carrier arrangements. For this reason, Surrogate Steps Specialists will match you only with a Gestational Carrier so that your child will never be genetically related to the Surrogate who will be carrying your child.
