Summary of Utah Surrogacy Law

Utah by statute, Utah Code Ann. §78B-15-801, permits compensated gestational surrogacy and recognizes Gestational Carrier Contracts for married intended parents only. Married intended parents will be able to obtain a birth order recognizing them as the legal parents of the child/ren.
