      Extra Rewards for Yearly Referral Milestones

      Earn additional cash bonuses as your referrals grow: $1,000 when you reach 5 referred surrogates in a calendar year, and another $1,000 when you reach 10. The calendar resets each January 1.

      $1,000 Bonus for Qualifying Cultural Referrals

      Receive an additional $1,000 bonus for each surrogate you refer who is Jewish by maternal descent, helping support families with specific cultural and religious needs.

      Monthly Prizes for Active Affiliate Participation

      Raffles and giveaways are optional and available only to affiliates who choose to post on social media at least twice per week. Monthly prizes range from $15–$30 for consistent posting without referrals and $50–$100 for affiliates who post regularly and generate qualified referrals. At the end of the calendar year, Affiliates that consistently posted and generated at least five qualified referrals that year, may compete for a $1,000 cash prize, with tie-breaker rules applied if needed.

      All other referral commissions and bonuses above can be earned without posting on social media.

    How the Affiliate Program Works

    1. Apply & Get Your Referral Link

      Applying is required to participate in the Surrogate Steps Affiliate Program. Once approved, you’ll receive a dedicated referral link that helps ensure referrals are properly tracked and that you receive credit and compensation.

    2. Refer Potential Surrogates

      Share your referral link through personal conversations, text, email, support groups, social media, or online communities. Applicants may also list you as their referrer on their initial application. Using your link or being named on the application ensures the referral is attributed to you.

    3. Post on Social Media (Strongly Encouraged)

      Posting at least twice per week is not required, but it is encouraged. Social posting increases visibility, often leads to more referrals, and is required only if you’d like to participate in raffles and giveaways.

    What Makes a Good Surrogate?

    Requirements for the Women You Refer

    Surrogacy is a life-changing experience, and because so much is at stake, only women who meet strict criteria can be accepted as gestational carriers with Surrogate Steps. While not required, affiliates may find it helpful to familiarize themselves with these basic requirements and share them with potential referrals to help set expectations before applying.

    • Age

      Between 23 and 43. Maturity is essential.

    • Proven Birth Record

      Must have at least one child born without major complications.

    • Good Health

      In overall good health with no major reproductive issues (e.g., no uterine ablation). Medical clearance from an OB/GYN and fertility specialist will be required.

    • Healthy BMI

      Between 18 and 38.

    • No Drug or Alcohol Abuse

      No history of alcohol or illicit drug abuse.

    • No Tobacco and Marijuana Use

      Must be free from tobacco, vaping, and marijuana for at least 6 months.

    • Strong Support Network

      Support from family and, if partnered or married, from their spouse/partner.

    • Willingness to Travel

      Must be open to traveling for 3–6 days at a time without children.

    • Government Assistance

      Cannot be on Section 8 housing.

    • Surrogate Friendly State

      Not currently available in Nebraska or Louisiana.

    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident

      Must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and possess a current driver’s license or government-issued identification.

    • No Felony Record

      Must not have felony convictions or live with anyone who does.
